Common questions
- How long does it take?
- It runs on CPU, so expect roughly the length of the recording. Jobs are processed in order, so there may be a wait.
- Does it handle video?
- Yes — the audio is extracted and processed.
- My old transcript is gone
- Transcripts are genuinely deleted when the retention period for your plan ends. They cannot be recovered.
- My file will not upload
- Check the file size limit and the per-file length limit for your plan.
Worth knowing
- Your audio file is deleted once the transcript exists — no plan keeps it.
- If you turn on the AI summary, the transcript text is sent to an external language model. Leave it off and nothing leaves.
- Accuracy is not guaranteed. Quality varies with accents, crosstalk and noise.
- Whether you were allowed to record, and whether participants agreed, is your responsibility.
